only she's been standing by you all along.

The best thing about having a sister is that I ALWAYS have a friend.

Happy 23rd Birthday to my partner in crime, confidant, wearer of my hand-me-downs, sister, and best friend.  Distance will never separate us in spirit; I love you with all of my heart and I treasure every moment we get together.  I hope you have a wonderful day and know that more than anything I wish I could spend it with you.

Vacation West - 2013

As we finished up our week of vacation out west, I thought it might be nice to put together a highlight clip for us to remember the trip and all the memories made.

It is a longer than usual video for us (9 and a half minutes) but it captures pretty much the whole week of activities and fun with family and friends.

Vacation West - 2013

Today was the first full day of vacation for Nicole and I as we joined the family in Jackson, WY.

We spent the day traveling around the countryside, up and down the mountains and enjoying the views and time together.

Dunes' Date

Jack and I were in Chesterton this past weekend and took advantage 

of the lovely weather by grabbing some KFC and heading to the Dunes.

A little over one year ago on another sunny day with another bucket of chicken, 

Jack and I went to the Dunes and it was there he asked me to be his wife.

The Dunes will always hold a special place in my heart for it was there that 

I said, "Yes" to my Jack.

Chicago was slightly visible - another one of our favorites since it was there that we first met... :)

And yet another perfect picnic at the Dunes...yet this time as husband and wife! :)

garage sales, chinese food, and catch-up

Growing up in a small private Christian school, Tab, Theresa, Elizabeth and I were referred to as the foursome.  We made so many memories in high school and I will never forget those days and all we did together.

This past Saturday, we were all able to meet up in Chesterton and spend 6 wonderful hours of talking non-stop together.  

We started the day off garage selling, then ate at our favorite local restaurant - Tao Chens.  We finished off by snapping a few pictures to commemorate the day by!

I enjoyed meeting Theresa's smiley little boy - Russell.

So glad we could catch up girls!

Rick's Birthday

What a fun time we had enjoying Rick's birthday together and having Rick and Bethany home for a few days!  We put together a little video clip of their arrival and Rick's birthday.  Enjoy! :)
