Summer Recap

Where have the last couple of months went?
I cannot believe that summer is winding down and before we know it Autumn will be here.
We have had such a busy summer and have made countless memories;
ones that will forever be special because they are all Keegan's first...

Keegan's first Father's day was celebrated by enjoying a picnic in the park:

Not for sure how much he enjoyed it, but he definitely received alot of attention. :)

This also meant Jack's first Father's Day.
I always knew Jack would make a great Dad, and he has proven that over the last few months.  I just love him so much!

My Dad has a slight addiction to watches and now he enjoys buying
them for Jack.  Pretty sweet watch!

We also enjoyed celebrating Papa's birthday:
 All of the grandchildren... :)

Our first 4th of July as a family of 3 was spent at Deep River
where we enjoyed a picnic.

Keegan was able to meet his "Auntie" Elizabeth, who had the magic touch
and put him right to sleep. :)

Lake Michigan:
My men...
aren't they handsome? :)

We also enjoyed meeting up with friends.
It is a rarity to get us all together at the same time,
as none of us live in the same state.

Going for walks is a favorite activity of Keegan's,
and it is always enjoyable.

Sorry for the picture overload, but we have certainly been enjoying our summer!
What are some of your favorite things you have done?

Summer guests

It is so hard to believe that it is already August and that summer is drawing to an end.
We have had a busy, yet so very good season.

Enjoyed a visit from mom and my "other" mother :)

When EJ visited we enjoyed doing lots of diy projects together.

My family came down for the 4th of July and helped us celebrate!

Love this man!

I was so excited to be able to host a birthday party for my mom - she is an amazing woman who threw countless number of birthday parties for me throughout the years.

Before Brooke headed back to Ohio she visited us.
We had fun baking and cooking and introducing her to froyo!

And then just this last weekend, my best friend Liz whom lives 2100 miles away in Cali was able to spend a day with us.  It truly was a treat as the last time I saw her was on our wedding day...

God has been so very good to have blessed me with such wonderful family and friends!
